Description

A good quality late Victorian washstand made from solid walnut with figured walnut veneers to the cupboard and drawer fronts. The black mottled marble gives the appearance of granite and the whole piece seems to have had a quiet life. The pale green tiles take a brickwork effect and whilst the whole piece has been revitalised it is mostly original and untouched. A more restrained version, yet has a simple but very effective look.
