Description

A superb early 20th Century decorative walnut veneered secretaire cabinet in the style of William and Mary. The stretchered base supports six barley twist legs that terminate on small bun feet above these are two mahogany lined drawers that have burr walnut veneers to the face with wonderful herringbone and lined ebony crossbanding which also runs throughout the upper writing and cupboard sections which have very attractive inlaid geometric roundels of inlay. The upper compartments consist of a simple two door cupboard to the top with a single shelf and open writing section with it's original green baize writing surface with all original locks with working keys. Would make a superb home office whilst being quite stunning into the bargain. Condition is very good.
