Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this stunning original Asprey London 1917 solid sterling silver Jewellery box with faux tortoise shell top made by the amazing Charles and Richard Comyns

A fantastic looking elegant and well made jewellery box, fully hallmarked to the lid and base and signed as follows

Asprey London, date letter B for 1917, leopards head for London, sideways facing lion for Sterling, serial number A7486 and lastly C&R C for Charles and Richard Comyns

The box is charming, the faux tortoise shell lid when opened has stunning colours, the rim is hand riveted with silver nails, the legs are long and elegant, the base is mahogany and the inside is velvet lined

For the full condition please view the pictures, its in lovely order throughout but being just over 100 years old it naturally has patina marks from honest age and fair use

We have long term storage which is very economically priced, we are happy to hold stock for as long as needed providing it is arranged prior to the purchase.

If sold items aren’t collected within three months and no arrangements have been made for long term storage you will forfeit the item and payment.
