We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original, circa 1830 hand carved solid Walnut Ship captains swivel armchair with early dark petrol green / black leather upholstery

A very good looking well made and super decorative captains chair, we have left it totally original including the leather and padding which is horse hair filled. The upholstery is heavily worn, it would have originally been dark green but its a petrol colour now due to age and being oiled and waxed, the frame is sublime, beautifully carved especially on the ends of the arms

Condition wise, the chair will retain all its original patina and ware as you can see in the pictures, it has various sections of wear to the upholstery, the right arm has been patched, this chair is all about originality, you will be able able to find restored versions of this piece but something is only ever original once and this is it

We accept payment via Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash, Ethereum, Bacs, Chaps, PayPal or Card, we would kindly ask that all items are paid for within 48 hours and collected within 7 working days, we can hold all paid items for 14 days free of charge, there after a £20 a week storage fee will apply. We have long term storage which is very economically priced, we are happy to hold stock for as long as needed providing it is arranged prior to the purchase.

If sold items aren’t collected within three months and no arrangements have been made for long term storage you will forfeit the item and payment.
