A fine bronze of Napoleon aloft his horse Marengo.This pose was made famous by the painter Jacques-Louis David in his painting titled Napoleon Crossing the Alps.
Dating from 1840, this bronze is of excellent quality with a rich patina and mounted on a fabulous double tier sienna marble and bronze base.
