Description

A Georgian mahogany Pembroke table. The square top has two side flaps which can be raised and supported on swinging bearers. Below is a single cockbeaded drawer, fitted with axe head handles and a working lock. Inside is a baized writing surface, underneath this it is divided into four compartments. One of these houses a removable ink stand. It is raised on square legs with chamfered inside edges and terminates in brass squat toe casters with leather wheels.
