A Regency Mahogany Bergère/ Library chair. It has a curved top rail with scrolled ends, which leads into the downward flowing arms that terminate in a scrolled end. It has a generous seat with horse hair cushion. It has a double caned back and side panel and single caning for the seat. It is raised on sabre back legs and turned and reeded front legs.Height 38¼ inches 97 cm circa 1830
