Description

A true pair of Howard & Sons Bridgewater armchairs. Having sprung seats with the wonderful Sierge de Duvet and sprung backs. The seats retaining the original feather and down seat cushions and the whole raised on walnut ring turned legs. Retaining the original stamped gilt lacquered brass castors and stamped "Howard & Sons Ltd, Berners St" to the back leg. These chairs have been stripped back to the frame and re-built using traditional upholstery methods. Retaining all the original horsehair and feather, re-covered in our Howard & Sons ticking. A superb example of this iconic model. English, Circa 1900.
