A small cast iron and gilt brass fire grate in the Louis XVI manner. The shaped backplate is surmounted by a rose wreath, fronds and a quiver the grate front is adorned with scrolling acanthus and floral detail flanked by a pair of foliate finials above decorative standards raised on shaped feet.French, circa 1920.
