A pair of cast iron Andirons in the Mannerist style, the intriguing bearded deities with even more intriguing head dress, hand mufflers and serpent- entwined lower quarters, with oak rather than fig leaf loin covering.19th century possibly earlier. Probably Celtic inspired by Celtic design. Shown here with a 'ducks nest' grate.
