A very fine set of four George III Welsh Oak farmhouse dining chairs of superb quality and beautifully strong traditional form originating from the county of Denbighshire.
Of rare and very pretty design featuring a wide shaped and pierced back splat with heart and comma detail.
In exceptional condition and original throughout, constructed from wonderfully figured timber with warm nutty colour and superb patina. True sets of Welsh oak country chairs do not come better.
Of standard dining chair height, their construction is strong and stable and they are suitable for daily use.
