A very special Welsh Oak wall hanging delft rack c1760. A rare and exquisite example of the highest quality, all oak construction including shelves and backboards. From the county of Montgomeryshire renowned for having arguably the finest dressers in the country and the most desirable red tinted oak.
Featuring an original shaped frieze with traditional double ogee design as found in Welsh dressers and cupboards of the period.
Absolutely outstanding condition throughout, completely original with the most impressive colour and patina imaginable. One of the nicest examples we have seen and of highly sought after small size.
