A beautiful Welsh Box Settle of stunning traditional form and desirable large size c1800. Constructed from quality pale pine with a strong and sturdy ash wood frame.
In exceptional original condition with lovely soft and gentle colour and wonderful grain. Having a gently sloping back and comfortable seat height. The seat opening into a box base offering superb storage. With full provenance from a Cardiganshire Hill Farm.
A much sought after piece of Welsh country furniture this settle is both strong and stable and suitable for daily use.
