Nineteenth Century mahogany Cheval dressing mirror
Description
This is an imposing early Victorian cheval dressing mirror which will bring light and elegance to your bedroom. This cheval mirror dates to around 1840. It is particularly opulent looking and made in rich mahogany. The cheval is very original, with original glass and in good antique condition. I love the sweeping curves of the frame. It stands on original casters and the mirror frame and base is in flame mahogany.
The mirror is original. age related marks but a wonderful period soft reflection that you don't get with modern glass. Some old replacement veneering to base - see photo. No signs of worm or damage.
This is a very good period mirror ready to go in to your home.
The Cheval mirror is 60 inches high and 28 inches wide and 23 inches deep.
