Description

This is an exceptionally good period mirror. The mirror is mid Victorian, dating to around 1870. The mirror is in simulated rosewood. The Georgians had discovered a way of making a man made material that could simulate rosewood and they and the Victorians used it a lot on mirrors with spectacular results. The mirror is a wonderful shape with depth and gadroon edge gilding.

This is a very opulent looking mirror. The frame is very clean and the glass is perfect. This mirror could go in any room furnished in antiques. Good thing.

The mirror is 25.5 inches by 30 inches.

This mirror will post anywhere in UK for £16.50
