Oil Painting by Henri Benard "Portrait of Aliette de Pigeard" 1860- 1927 Aliette de Pigeard (1897 - 1969) married Pedro de Prat, Marquis de Nantouillet, a Spanish ambassador. Their daughter Isobel Maria became Baroness Von Trantonberg. Aliettes first marriage was aned by Pope Pius and she went on to marry Swiss aristocrat Jean de Bavier. French portrait painter and figurative painter who was a pupil of Gerome. Won medals with Artistes Francais. Oil on canvas. Signed and dated January 1904 in original frame.
