Description
A carved wood table made in Japan for Liberty & Co, c 1905. The tables were commissioned by Liberty as part of their more exotic range of furniture, when there was fashion for everything Japanese. They were hand carved by Japanese fishermen, made in numbered sections for easy packing and transportation, and assembled at the "Eastern Bazaar" in their Regent Street headquarters in London.Dimensions: H60cm, Diameter 28cm
