A stunning pair of carved hall chairs by Liberty & Co, c 1895. These chairs are featured in the 1890 Liberty & Co sketches handbook, showing them as part of the Rubens Dining suite. Made of solid oak, detailed carving to the back and seats, enamel makers label to the underside. In excellent original condition with great colour and patina, original internal upholstery retained, re-covered in a Romo velvet fabric (wasabi / black).Dimensions H10cm, H 46cm (to seat), W54cm, D40cm
