HAND MADE FROM THE ARTS AND CRAFTS PERIOD OF DESIGN

This impressive salver is hand beaten in copper, and dates circa 1880

You can see all the little hammer marks have been hand applied by hammer and punch without use of a machine, presenting itself without the total evenness that a machined tray would have

Although unmarked it is very keswick school

The edges are hand rolled

It is in patinated copeer , unpolished and is a large size at 64cm

The photo showing the strut at the bottom is just a leg from our backboard , I realised later it looks a bit confusing!
