ffered for sale is a lovely plate from the series of Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plates. This plate issued for 1995 is entitled "Christmas at the Manor House" and depicts a group of people pulling along a sledge that bears the Christmas tree for the manor house. Even the dog is getting in on the act!
The plate comes complete with certificate and original box.
The Christmas plates from Royal Copenhagen have been issued every year since 1908, each one with a unique motif which is meticulously brought to life through hundreds of little grooves, carvings and engravings.
The relief for the motif of the Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plates is handmade based on the designer’s drawing. Over the years, different artists have designed the motifs for the series of collectibles, which always includes a Plate.
