Offered for sale is a 1975 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, entitled "Christmas at the old watermill" designed by Henry Thelander.
The first water mills date back to around
the 12th century, and they were, prior to
the introduction of the steam engine, the
most important source of energy in Denmark.
Bing & Grondahl merged with Royal Copenhagen in 1987
