exceptional near perfect pair of cast silver candlesticks by renowned silversmith William Bennett George 111 period. 1815. The other near matching was made the exact same cast method 1841 hallmarks on inside base.Identical dimensions and weight.
William Bennett, he was a quite exceptional silversmith who was apprenticed to John Arnell. He made very fine mugs, tankards, trays and salvers. He had workshops at 2, Half Moon Passage, Aldersgate Street
