Description
A set of four painted wood panels Depicting St George, St Patrick, St Andrew and St David, two signed Viola and one signed Rosamund Borradaile,the St Andrew example is unsigned. On the reverse of the St Patrick is stated ”Put up in the Memorial Chapel on June 1st 1929. Presented by Mrs Borradaile mother of the artists.Viola and Rosamund Borradaile were authors of The Strasbourg Manuscript - A Medieval Painters Handbook (translated from old German)
They are in used worn condition and each measures 148 cm x 5 x 69.
