Description

This is a pretty pair of Victorian Aesthetic Movement brass candlesticks in wonderful condition by renowned manufacturer William Tonks and Sons, circa 1890. They have a pierced pyramid shaped foot with each of the sides decorated with two rampant dragons facing in opposite direction and flanking what looks like a fountain. Several manufacturer's marks are stamped on the base including WT&S (for William Tonks & Sons), an eight pointed sun and a lozenge with the letter R surrounded by numbers.

Condition: These candlesticks are in very good antique condition without damage and all connections firm.
