Description

This is a superb Arts and Crafts brass and copper telescopic standard lamp. The brass base with its scrolling design is a particularly striking feature. The four legs form a C scroll where they attach to the column as well as terminate in C scroll feet. The height can be adjusted by turning a petal shaped brass ring which allows the copper column to move up and down. It comes with the silk shade as shown.

Condition: It is in very good antique condition but there are marks commensurate with age. The brass and copper have been cleaned by hand but not to an excessive extent and two coats of lacquer applied to prevent discolouration. The wiring and electrical parts have been tested and passed by our electrician. The silk shade is in used but clean and unmarked condition.
