Description

This is a fine mid 20th century carving in teak of a tiger bearing its teeth by Richard Swale from Cornwall, whose stylised representations of animals fit well within Mid Century Modern interiors. It is fully signed in pencil on the reverse with a hanger for hanging on a wall.

Richard carved sharks, deer and other animals from teak with each sculpture being unique.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with an attractive waxed surface.
