Description

This is a fabulous 1960s English Mid-Century low sideboard in Tola wood containing four graduated drawers and a two door cupboard over an arching base in afromosia, having metal drawer and door pulls, designed by Alfred Cox.

Alfred Cox, a British designer of hand-built furniture known for using exotic woods, established his company in 1956 and supplied high end retailers such as Heals of London.

Condition: The sideboard is in excellent vintage condition. The drawers slide smoothly and the doors close firmly. The top has been refinished in Danish oil in our workshop.
