Description

This is an imposing pair of vintage Chinese cream coloured, crackle glaze ceramic table lamps with ribbed temple jar shaped bodies on brass stands, circa 1930s to 1950s. Lid and base were potted together, covered in a cream crackle glaze and decorated with gold bands to the base of the lid element and main body. The brass plinths are finished with protective felt.

One of the photographs shows the lamps matched with 45cm tapered drum, ivory coloured, linen effect shades. Similar shades can be acquired from about £25 each.

Condition: These lamps are in very good vintage condition without chips and cracks. The brass plinths are a little discoloured. They have been recently professionally rewired with generous lengths of gold PVC covered cable, fitted with new plugs and high voltage tested.
