Description

This is a handsome pair of Chinese elm cabinets comprising two door cupboards over 6 small drawers with patinated brass fittings, circa 1970s. The sides and back of the upper cupboard sections are ventilated whereas the drawer sections are solid-sided. They are a little too high to be used as bedside cabinets (unless your bed is also high) and would be more appropriate in a reception room. They are extremely well constructed from solid elm throughout and are very heavy (each requiring two men to lift). As well as providing perfect bases for a pair of Chinoiserie-style lamps they also have bags of useful storage space.

Dimensions:
Height: 98cm (3 ft 2 1/2 in)
Width 67 cm (2 ft 2 1/2 in)
Depth 51 cm (20 in)
They are similar in size to small chest of drawers, albeit a little taller and narrower.

Condition: The cabinets are in excellent vintage condition with a few minor age-related marks.

Delivery: This pair of cabinets can be delivered to most places on mainland England and Wales for £80 by our trusted delivery person. You can also arrange your own courier if you prefer, or collect in person from the Tunbridge Wells area.
