Description

This is an early to mid 19th century birch ladder back, rush seated rocking chair, attributed to the Lancashire region. It has a lovely colour and patina.

The back has four ladders leading down to the arms. The rush seat appears to be original. There are turned legs to the front and square section legs to the back all, of which, rest on rockers.

Dimensions: Height 102 cm, Width (max at arms) 53 cm, Width of seat 51 cm, Depth (max at rockers) 70 cm, Depth of set 41 cm

Condition: Very good antique condition with some old repairs.

Delivery: This chair can be delivered for £50 to most places on mainland England and Wales by our delivery person, who is an expert on transporting antique furniture and works of art. You are also welcome to collect from us near Tunbridge Wells in Kent.
