Pair of Chinese hand-painted porcelain table lamps

Description

This is an attractive pair of Chinese hand-painted porcelain table lamps purchased in Singapore 10 to 15 years ago which have recently been professionally rewired to meet UK Safety Standards. They come with the white Empire shaped shades as shown.

Both lamps take the form of a melon but each with a different design, one is decorated with butterflies while the other with trailing foliage and exotic birds. They stand on dark wooden plinths and each has a good length of gold plastic covered cable.

Height of base to shade ring 39 cm
Diameter of base (max) 20 cm
Shade - diameter of base 40 cm

Condition: The bases are in perfect condition without chips of cracks. The shades are in very good condition with the odd tiny spot.

Postage & Packing: £20 within the UK. We are allowing for the shades to be sent separately in their own box.

We have a trusted delivery man who is a experienced in transporting antiques, pictures and fragile items. He can deliver to most places on mainland England and Wales and, depending on where he is on his schedule, it may take a few days or up to 4 weeks. Other couriers are available for Scotland and North Wales or where a shorter time frame is required. Purchases can also be collected in person from the Tunbridge Wells area in SE England.
