Description

This is a stunning Art Nouveau brass-inlaid rosewood tray decorated in the Viennese Secessionist style, made in Germany by Erhard & Sohne c.1905. Having an oval form with twin handles its beauty lies in the design of the inlay which combines geometric and organic shapes typical of the Art Nouveau era.

Dimensions: Length 36 cm - Width 18 cm - Height excluding handles 2.5 cm

Condition: The tray is in good antique condition though there is a little damage. One of the wooden corners is chipped and split, the handles are a little misshapen, and there is some splitting of the veneer on the reverse but all are secure with no movement. The brass inlay is all present and the tray displays extremely well. Please contact us if you would like to see some additional photographs.
