Description

This is an elegant Georgian mahogany swing mirror above a serpentine fronted arrangement of three drawers, circa 1770, and in particularly fine condition.

The delicate fretwork below the mirror is an unusual feature. The brass finials, the ring-pull handles on the drawers and sides all appear to be original, and the central drawer comes with a working Georgian steel key. The mirror plate is also original and has a number of foxing spots but is still very usable.

Dimensions:
Width 53 cm (21 inch)
Depth 20 cm (8 inch)
Height to top of finial 55 cm (21.5 inch)

Condition: Excellent. The back board is a replacement otherwise all original and a particularly fine example of its type.
