Description

Fine antique Chinese blue & white 'Boys' porcelain jar dating from the 19th Century.

Various scenes of boys playing and studying within a garden are depicted around the bowl.

Six character mark on the base. The number '222' in permanent marker which is both on the base and underside of the lid is believed to be an identifying mark from a previous owner's collection.

The lid with its Foo Dog finial is probably later and matched to the base.
