This is a later reprint from the original woodblock.

Biography: Kiyomine (1787-1868) was the grandson of Torii Kiyomitsu, fifth in the Torii line. He lived in Edo (Tokyo), the pupil of Torii Kiyonaga. As a young man he made prints under Kiyomine these are generally considered his best work. His subjects are chiefly beauties, actors and scenes from plays. later works carry the name Kiyomitsu II.
