Description

Good quality and unusual pair of c19th French gilt bronze converting candelabra, giving you an option to reduce down to a beautiful pair of candlesticks.
When in full candelabra mode, you can use the three branches and keep the brass torch style candle snuffer in place in the centre, or you can remove the snuffer and use all four candlesticks as shown.
Lovely original colour to the bronze. I have cleaned them just a little and given them a light buff, to bring them up, but they are so decorative, they don't need any more polishing!
Great detail throughout the candlestick columns and up into the candelabra.
Good condition and just the usual signs of age being the deeper tone to the bronze, but you could further polish this up if you prefer.
They are a good size too, nice proportions when candelabras and also as a pair of candlesticks.
Measuring:
21 1/2'' or 54.5cm high as candelabras ( not including candles )
8' or 20cm span across candelabra
5' or 13cm across the base

13 1/4'' or 33.5cm high as candlesticks ( not including candles! )
