Description

Very elegant and super quality early 19th century mahogany “partners” desk with seven leather inset panels finished to the top writing surface, finished with gilt tooling and a hinged writing slope, circa 1830 and in good original condition.
Well figured mahogany and a consistent colour throughout, standing on these beautiful tapered legs with brass capped castors.
Great size for a daily use desk and with it being a partners desk, this can free stand as it is full finished to the rear side. Good drawer space and all drawers are running smoothly…I don’t currently have a key for the locks, but I will hopefully find one for you.
The green leather panels are all lovely, some use related marks as you can see in the pics, but nothing of any concern or tears.
