Here we have a superb Oak c1910 Globe Wernicke stacking antique barrister bookcase having 6 compartments with glazed up and over doors with a small original brass knob. The unit has the original makers badge stamped The Globe Wernicke & Co Ltd office & library furnishers London. The bookcase is in fantastic condition with only minimal signs of previous ownership. All doors are working smoothly and well. The bookcase could be reduced in height and any unrequired compartments stored away carefully enabling them to suit many settings and cover many uses. This type of furniture is very popular for storage of fabrics and such in domestic settings in craft rooms and studios as well as looking fantastic filled with books for the reading enthusiast.

WORKSHOP REPORT:
This bookcase in great condition with only very minimal signs of previous ownership having just age-related marks as one would expect. There is a very small area of old woodworm in the back outside although old and inactive we have retreated it to be sure approx. half a dozen holes please refer to photos.
