Description

This delicate and delightful French Art Nouveau bronze sculpture is by A De Manneville, a prominent sculptor of the period, and is titled ‘Avril’ depicting a young maiden in flowing robes holding flowers. The piece reflects a lovely movement and shape as the maiden seems to be in a dancing motion and it is signed on the circular base next to her feet. The work measures 7 ½ in – 19 cm wide and deep, with a height of 24 ½ in – 62.2 cm.
