This beautiful unused 1960s Stratton powder compact is adorned with gorgeous red and gold enamel.

This Stratton Cachette compact mirror is presented with the original accessories - presentation box, luxury puff which bears the Stratton signature, felt pouch and inspection docket.

All clasps & hinges work perfectly.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

The interior base is decorated with the original pristine white coat of enamel.

The base is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND.

The base is typical for the Stratton Cachette model - it has a slot to ensure the easy removal of empty powder pans.

Measures 7.5 cm diameter. Weighs 70.8 grams.

The gilded brass is lacquered and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned.

This compact is ideal for use with pressed foundation pans measuring 67mm diameter.
