Superb Stylish Arts and Crafts Vaseline Glass Ceiling LanternStylish brass electric ceiling lantern with its original matching vaseline glass cylindrical liner complete with its matching cord-grip ceiling rose.
Beautifully designed in the classic Arts and Crafts or Art Nouveau style, the stylish brass cage form tendril form frame houses a deep vaseline glass cylindrical liner.
The lantern retains its original patina and its matching vaseline glass cylindrical liner which exhibits the most vibrant wonderful colour with deep rich opalescence.
Date: circa 1900.
Size: Lantern frame is 32 cm in total height x 18cm maximum diameter. The current installed height from base of lantern to the ceiling rose is 65cm which can be altered to suit installation.
Condition: In superb condition retaining its original patina in full working order complete with its matching original ceiling cord grip ceiling rose. The glass liner has no issues and the lantern has been rewired & ready to install with black antique style twist silk flex. The lantern has always been electric and is not a gas conversion.
