Description

For sale today we have this stunning Art Nouveau period "Scrolling Seaweed" vase/ jardiniere by George Tinworth for Royal Doulton Lambeth. Of very broad baluster form, the vase features a very dramatic all over incised foliate design that is further enhanced by varying size ornate rosettes and applied beadwork borders. Cobalt blue, buff ground with creamy whorls, mottled green inner neck.

Stands 10" tall x 9" across and weighs in at nearly 4kg!. GT monogram to body, stamped Royal Doulton Lambeth "Lion" mark to the base along with date shield "e", Bessie Newbury as assistant.

Superb condition, any white spots are camera reflection.
