For sale today we have this rare Wm Moorcroft Purple Orchid (or Burslem Orchid, as it is sometimes known) pattern vase. Extremely well decorated with none of the colour run that is sometimes found on these pieces. The broad baluster form vase features 2 slightly different Orchid displays set against a green over blue ground. In excellent condition.

Stands 5 1/2" tall. Stamped Moorcroft Made in England, along with William's "flash" green signature. Circa 1918.
