Description

For sale today we have this large and incredibly well cast and coloured Compton Pottery Arts and Crafts plaque. The Mary Seton Watts design features three young children playing and picking flowers in an idyllic English garden scene. To the base is a quote taken from Robert Louis Stevenson's A Child's Garden of Verses-" "the world is so full of a number of things I'm sure we should all be as happy as kings!. Al framed within a climbing ivy border.

Measures 28 cm x 24 cm and with a single inceised "C" to the rear. In superb condition.
