An Absolutely Wonderful Royal Doulton Lambeth Art Nouveau Vase by Mark V Marshall. Yet again showing his genius for design, the baluster form vase is delightfully tubeline decorated by Marshall with a band of 4 large stylised Parrots to the shoulder and neck area while the base rim has a wave like decor. The parrots are vibrantly coloured while the ground is cobalt blue. A good size at 10 1/2 " tall x 5 " dia. Stamped with Royal Doulton Lambeth with the date shield "h" for 1907- incised marks "M.V.M 649" for Mark Marshall, with "JH" for Joan Honey the assistant.
