Description
A fully hand hammered silver egg cup holder with organic engravings and leaves motifs in a classical Turkish form, from c1860. I assume the silver purity is between .700 and .800, as it was often the case with the silver used in the Ottoman Empire.DateMid 19th Century :

ConditionThe holder is in good condition with the historical patina and wear commensurate with age. There are no cracks and no repairs. The rim has some slight deviation, but nothing detrimental to its aesthetic.
