A stunning & rare 18th century handmade bible box on later stand.

A stunning and ornately carved English handmade bible box circa 1750 (could be used as writing slope/hall console etc. Beautiful aged wood, very very dark in colour. Lots of age and a beautiful piece of early antique furniture.

Has the initials A.W. as shown. The stand is later, probably Edwardian. Made from oak. Rustic lock and finishes as shown.

Some signs of age to be expected but in very lovely condition for it's years and has a very rustic charm to it.

Measurements approximately: 79cm x 45cm deep x 95cm high.

Returns will not be accepted for an item not fitting, colour, change of mind or anything already described or discussed so it is important that you check any details you need to prior to purchase.
