The outside of the cup is finely painted with a continuous scene of young girls playing, all dressed in different coloured dresses in a garden landscape. Raised gilding inside the rim and to the wide gilt bands around the cup and foot. Marked to the base for Richard Wehsner, Dresden, c.1880.

The cup measures 7.8cm (3") high and 8.2cm (3 1/4") wide and the saucer measures 13.5cm (5 1/4") wide and 1.5cm (3/8") high.

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. Very minor handling wear, just a couple of very minor marks to the saucer and a few white beads have been crushed.
