Delicate saucer shaped porcelain egg drainer by Caughley with a shell shaped handle and clear printed pattern of the Fisherman & Cormorant, also known as the Pleasure Boat pattern, c.1785. S mark to the reverse.

It measures 9.5cm (3 3/4") handle to rim, 8cm (3 1/8") rim to rim and 1.5cm (5/8") high. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. Surface wear is minimal and the printing is very fine and crisp.
