Description

Lovely early Worcester round porcelain basket with pierced walls and scalloped rim and decorated in the centre with the pinecone pattern. The rim and first section of the reticulation is prettily decorated with a diaper style and trailing vines. The outside of the basket is decorated with applied moulded flowers to each of the joints, each picked out in blue. Solid blue crescent mark to the base.

It measures 5.5cm (2 1/8") high and 18.5cm (7 1/4") wide. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and very light surface wear for age and use.
